Affiliate Disclosure
Last reviewed August 2026
When you open a sportsbook account through certain links on TrueEdge Wire, the sportsbook pays us a commission. That revenue funds the newsroom. Here is exactly how it works and what it does not buy.
How to tell an affiliate link
Affiliate links route through trueedgewire.com/go/… and are marked sponsored for search engines. Pages containing them carry a disclosure notice like the one you have probably seen above our articles.
What a commission buys
Placement of an offer where an offer belongs — nothing else. It does not buy a rating, a ranking position, a softer sentence in a review, or coverage decisions. Ratings are produced under the review methodology and books we have commercial relationships with get criticized in print regularly, because the alternative — reviews nobody can trust — is worth less to us than any commission.
What we will not do
- Present an offer without its material terms.
- Show an offer we have not verified, or one that has expired — our system tracks verification dates and expiry and pulls dead offers.
- Describe any wager as guaranteed. Ever.
- Target readers in states where an operator is not licensed.
