FanDuel has been the most complete book we use. Signup offers were strong, and the pattern that separates it from every rival came later: where other books hand new users one offer and go quiet, FanDuel kept chaining meaningful offers once it saw real volume. Deposits land instantly, the app has never gone down on us, and withdrawals have been fast and never withheld. Our complaints are at the margins — the loyalty program is forgettable, and alt-line pricing drifts wide.

Mainline pricing is competitive — on most markets FanDuel is at or near the going rate, though line-shopping will usually surface a book or two offering better on any given bet. The honest caveat comes from the company's own numbers: Flutter's reported hold ran 13–14 percent through 2024–25, the highest of the majors, driven by parlay and same-game-parlay mix. Straight bets are fairly priced; exotic and alt-line pricing skews wide, and parlays are where the house does its best work.

The deepest board of any book we track. Mainlines, alternates, player props and milestone markets run wider than the field on the big American sports, and the search function actually finds what you type — a smaller thing than it sounds until you've used everyone else's.

In-play is fast enough that you can typically get a bet down in seconds, and the live menu holds its depth into the game instead of collapsing to mainlines. With integrated streaming on a good slate of events, this is the strongest live product of the domestic majors alongside bet365.

The consensus is right on this one: reviewers across SI, Covers and Gambling.com rate FanDuel's app the cleanest and fastest in the market, and our experience matches. Navigation is obvious, the layout puts bets where you'd look for them, and it is quick under load.

Deposits are instant, and FanDuel will refund an unused balance on request — a small policy that says a lot, and one we've watched other books fail badly (Hard Rock held unused funds of ours for weeks). Withdrawals have been fast and clean, with PayPal and debit rails reputed at under 24 hours. Note the standard caveats: the first-ever withdrawal carries a 48-hour hold, and complaint boards run hot with verification disputes — themes we haven't personally hit.

For most users the promo calendar is normal-good: solid signup offer, regular boosts. What's different is how FanDuel treats bettors it values — in our experience it strings together real offers month after month at a size other books won't touch. If you bet seriously, this is the best promotional relationship in the market. The flip side, widely reported and consistent with the cons here: profit-boost bet caps are low, and winning accounts get stake-factored.

Mediocre at best. There's no meaningful loyalty program for most users, and the rewards that do exist would be far more compelling if the profit boosts carried higher bet limits. If a rewards program matters to you, Fanatics' FanCash and the casino-anchored programs do this better.

Responses have been fast and generally useful in our experience. Public review sites tell a rougher story — Trustpilot sits under two stars on themes of locked accounts and chat dead-ends — worth knowing, though complaint platforms skew negative for every major book.

A 9.1 is a high bar and FanDuel clears it: the best app, the deepest board, elite live betting, and a promotional engine that genuinely rewards volume. Price-sensitive bettors should keep a second book open for line-shopping, and winners should enjoy the ride while it lasts — but as a primary book, nothing else is this complete.
